GENERAL QUESTIONS
+ When and where is the festival?
Get Together takes place on Thursday, December 28 at Edmonton EXPO Centre.
+ What is the minimum age to attend?
You must be at least 18 years of age and present valid primary & secondary ID with your tickets upon entry. See below for more details on IDs we accept.
+ What kind of ID do I need to get into the Get Together Music Festival?
We abide strictly by AGLC (Alberta gaming and liquor commission) regulations and cannot make any exceptions. You’ll need a primary piece of government issued ID* with an approved secondary ID.**
Acceptable forms of primary ID:
Valid driver’s license / Alberta Operators License / armed forces identification card / out-of-province driver’s license / certificate of Indian status / Canadian citizenship or permanent residency card
Valid primary identification must:
Have a photo/ have a name / have a signature/ be government issued / include date of birth / not be expired / have a unique identifier number / be an original (not a copy).
Acceptable forms of secondary id:
Birth certificate / Nexus card / baptismal certificate / foreign government visa / firearms license For any additional questions regarding ID requirements, please visit the AGLC website.
The following forms of identification are NOT accepted:
• Expired ID of any kind
• Temporary paper ID
• Photos of any ID
• School Identification Cards
+ What time does the festival start & end?
Doors will open at 8PM and curfew is at 2AM on both days.
+ Are there seats available?
There will be limited bleacher seating available on a first come first served basis. Most of the event will be general admission standing room only. If you have accessibility considerations, more information can be found in the Accessibility section below.
+ Will there be water stations available?
Free water stations and drinking fountains will be available for guests to fill their bottles. We allow one empty personal reusable bottle (NO glass) per person.
+ Is there food and drinks available?
A variety of food and beverage options will be available on site. Outside food and beverages are not permitted on site. However, personal amounts of factory sealed (unopened) snacks such as granola bars, protein bars, chips, etc. will be allowed.
+ Can I bring a water bottle inside?
Each person is permitted to bring in one personal empty reusable bottle. NO glass allowed. Must not exceed 1L (litre). Hydration packs are allowed if empty. Bags will be subject to search at the gate prior to entrance.
+ Will coat check be available?
Yes, coat check is available for $5/item. VIP ticketholders will receive complimentary coat check service available near the VIP entrance.
+ Can I smoke/vape at Get Together?
In compliance with City of Edmonton’s Public Places Bylaw, the Edmonton EXPO Centre is a smoke free facility. Guests may only smoke at the designated OUTDOOR smoking area. Please ensure your cigarette packs are sealed upon entry. For cannabis only personal use amounts will be permitted.
+ What is the camera policy?
Guests may use personal cameras and mobile phones to take photos inside the venue. Cameras with detachable lenses are not permitted. Professional video cameras or video/audio recording devices are not permitted at the event.
+ What are my payment options on site?
Get Together is a cashless event. All major credit cards & debit cards will be accepted on site. Cash will be accepted for guests who do not have digital forms of payment, however change will not be provided.
Ticketing & Admission
+ How do I access my ticket(s)?
This event is mobile tickets only. That means your mobile device will be used to gain access to the event. Tickets will not be emailed or available for print. For a step-by-step guide on using mobile entry, please visit: https://help.ticketmaster.ca/s/article/MobileEntry
+ Are there ins & outs/re-entry?
There are no ins and outs during each festival day. If you leave earlier than the closing time of each day, you will not be able to re-enter.
+ I got my tickets from a “friend”/ Kijiji /this guy I know. How do I know if they are valid?
There is no way to guarantee third party tickets are legit. The only tickets we guarantee are ones purchased directly from https://www.get-together.ca/ through Ticketmaster.
+ Where do I pick up my wristband?
VIP ticketholders will receive a wristband when entering the venue. All other ticketholders do not require a wristband. Wristbands are valid for one day only, 2-day VIP ticketholders will receive a new wristband on day 2. All 2-day tickets are non-transferrable after day 1.
+ When is the Box Office open?
7pm – 1am on each day. *Times are subject to change
+ I put on my wristband too tight/my wristband is damaged. Can I get a new one?
Wristband replacement will be available at the Box Office. Must have original wristband to receive replacement.
+ How do I contact Customer Support about my tickets?

In-person inquiries are welcomed at the Box Office on the night of the show.
Getting Here
Public Transit
The Edmonton EXPO Centre is connected by outdoor pedway to the Coliseum LRT Station, capable of shuttling guests back and forth from downtown within minutes. Please see Edmonton LRT Service for further information and schedules.
Guests can also access the Coliseum Transit Centre by passing through the Coliseum LRT Station. Please see Edmonton Transit System for further information and schedules.
On Site Parking
The Edmonton EXPO Centre public entrances are located at 116 Avenue and 73 Street. Guests can enter through the 79 Street entrance. To avoid lineups at our 116 Avenue entrance, we encourage guests to use the 73 Street entrance during large events.

Accessibility
The Edmonton EXPO Centre is committed to meeting the needs of all our guests. This includes providing an accessible environment and accommodating the needs of people with special requirements. + What are the accessibility seating options?
A designated Accessible Seating Area will be available on site for any patrons requiring wheelchair or special seating considerations. The Accessible Seating option is available to ticketholders using wheelchairs, crutches/walking aids, or who have any other physical disabilities or injuries that will necessitate a seat for the show. Accessible Seating Patrons who require an attendant are encouraged to purchase a ticket for their attendant and include mention of them in the email. There will be 1 attendant permitted per Accessible Seating Patron in the designated seating area. Any ticketholder who has special seating requirements should email LNWesternCanadaHelp@LiveNation.com with your ticket order confirmation number to request access to the Accessible Seating Area. This must be coordinated in advance of the event. If needed, there will be a designated staff member available on site to provide some assistance.
Health & Safety
+ Is there medical at the event?
There sure is! Health & safety is our number 1 priority. Medical stations and roaming teams are in place, be sure to note these locations upon entry to the event or ask event staff for help if needed.
+ Is there Festival Health at the event?
Festival Health is an overarching term that provides education and resources on attending festivals and concerts safely (ie. safe substance use & alcohol consumption). If you are feeling uneasy or have any questions about steps you can take for your health and safety at events - check out their station for more information or talk to one of their team members in the cool purple shirts!
+ What can I do to protect my health & safety at the event?
If you are reading this FAQ, you’re off to a great start! Be sure to:
- Stay hydrated and drink lots of water
- Dress for the weather
- Check your local Public Health website for the latest information about COVID-19
- Check your local Public Health website on safe substance use and alcohol consumption
- Do not bring prohibited items into the event
- Follow our Fan Code of Conduct for your and everyone’s safety
- Keep an eye out for your friends
- Follow instruction from event staff – they are here to help
- If you see something, say something - report safety and security concerns immediately to event security and staff
Security Screening
Guests are required to participate in a pat down and all bags will be subject to search & screened for prohibited items prior to allowing entry to the venue. Bags, purses, backpacks or bulky items including large coats must be checked upon entry. Please note, Prohibited Items are subject to change, and security measures may be increased at any time.

- Cell phones and portable chargers/external batteries
- Cigarettes (must be sealed upon entry) and lighters. No smoking indoors!
- E-cigs/vapes (refillable liquid chambers OK, must be empty upon entry). No smoking indoors!

- Glowsticks & glowing/illuminated costumes or jewelry
- Gum (must be sealed upon entry)
- Personal sized hand sanitizer
- Hydration Packs / Camel Packs (must be empty upon entry)
- Lip balm, lip gloss and lipstick (must be sealed upon entry)
- Non-professional flash/still cameras, handheld video devices under 6″ (Sony Action Cam, GoPro, etc.), and GoPro extendable poles
- Physician-prescribed medication that is not expired (must show physician’s prescription and consult with a safety officer upon entry)
- Powder makeup (liquid makeup is prohibited)
- Small bags, single-compartment bags, plush bags, purses (maximum 12″x12″)
- Sunglasses & hats
- Tampons and pads (sealed upon entry)
- Wet wipes (sealed upon entry)

- Aerosol products/cans
- Balls or Frisbees
- Bota bags
- Deodorant
- Drones, remote-controlled aircraft, toys
- Drugs or drug paraphernalia
- Eye drops
- Glass, cans, cups, or coolers
- Inflatables of any kind
- Helium balloons
- Illegal substances
- Large chains or spiked jewelry
- Large purses, bags, or backpacks (over 12″×12″)
- Laser pointers or air horns
- Liquid makeup
- Markers, pens, or spray paint
- Massagers
- Open packs of cigarettes (upon entry)
- Outside food or beverages (including alcohol and candy)
- Over-the-counter medication
- Pacifiers
- Personal misting fan with attached bottle
- Pets (certified service animals allowed)
- Professional photo, video, or audio recording equipment (detachable lenses, tripods, big zooms, or commercial-use rigs)
- Selfie sticks
- Stickers, flyers
- Stuffed animals or dolls
- Tents, large umbrellas, chairs, or blankets
- Totems, flag poles, or long sticks/poles of any kind
- Toy guns, water guns, slingshots
- Unsealed tampons or pads (upon entry)
- Weapon or weapon accessories of any kind, real or fictional (including whips, lightsabers, pocketknives, pepper spray, fireworks, fake weapons/props, etc.)
- Any other items deemed to be unsafe by venue management
Fan Code of Conduct
Get Together is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for everyone. We ask that your conduct contribute to everyone’s enjoyment of the event, be legally appropriate, and not be offensive or abusive to others. For your safety and comfort, unacceptable conduct is subject to ejection and includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Use of foul, threatening, offensive or abusive language or gestures.
- Discrimination, bullying or hate that harasses, victimizes, degrades, or intimidates an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, race, national origin, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, age, ability, physical appearance or other.
- Harassment, including unwelcome or hostile behavior, physical contact or sexual attention.
- Fighting or any other type of violence.
- Wearing or using clothing, signs, and banners which are offensive in nature.
- Intoxication or impairment due to alcohol/cannabis or consumption of illegal substances.
- Throwing objects or interfering with the progress of the event.
- Being in possession of alcohol not purchased inside Get Together festival grounds.
- Being in possession of weapons, illegal substances or any other prohibited items.
- Smoking (including e-cigarettes, personal vaporizers, and cannabis) in the venue & on the premise outside of the designated outdoor smoking area.
- Unpermitted access and breaching perimeters to the festival VIP areas or other restricted areas.
- Any other conduct that may be deemed by Get Together to be inappropriate or which may adversely affect the safety of persons or property, or disruption of the event.
Get Together will not tolerate any unsafe, offensive behaviour that violates our Fan Code of Conduct. Failure to abide by this Code may result in ejection & suspension from entering any/all of our associated venues.
Each of us has a responsibility to report any act that goes against the values that we stand for. So, if you see something, say something. Report any safety concerns to our management team right away.
